It is coming up to book week and I have a few author (and as publisher) school visits planned. It’s exciting!
What do I like about school visits?
I get to be teacher me, in an extra fun way!
I get to talk about books and stories!
I share how I come up with ideas!
I love seeing happy faces as kids are inspired!
The kids share their ideas with me and kids are so imaginative
Kids ask the most unexpected questions!
But the main thing I love about the mix of jobs (teaching, writing, publishing and speaking) I do is to help motivate and give inspiration to the people I work with. I can do this from teaching or running a workshop and hopefully when someone reads one of my stories.
I also love to learn. I love to share cool facts and share ideas. School visits and workshops let me do that in a really enjoyable way. I’d love to impart to others that deep energy for finding cool stuff in this world!
