I wanted to write since I was a child. But what I was good at was maths and science. I like maths and science, and writing was not as easy as it seems. My words can easily get tangled up, mixed up and sometimes basic grammar eludes me.
But writing doesn’t always start with getting the perfect grammar. The first part is getting a good story.
So what do you write about? Well perhaps start with what you know. In this workshop I will go through finding ideas and how to get started. How do you get past a blank page.
Workshop goes for 1 hour and participants can brainstorm and then come up with an idea. The focus is on finding a story you want to write not just writing because you have to write.
Workshop aimed at upper primary school students or secondary students.
